2 years ago, I was part of a team going Agile for developing their software. As a designer with no prior experience working directly with software development teams, it was daunting. There is a hoard of new jargon to learn right away, various people to navigate, things to learn and unlearn…all in parallel to doing the actual job of making solid user experiences.
And why are there groups dedicated to championing it? I’m sure many other practitioners can define it far better than me, but from what I’ve experienced:
Agile is a collaborative effort of delivering valuable solutions for end-users…
I make things better with simple and thoughtful user experiences, among other things. www.jenielle.design
